Welcome to our exciting adventure at the Steampunk festival in Whitby, February 2023! In this video, we’ll take you along as we explore one of the most unique festivals in the world, where the past meets the future in a fusion of Victorian fashion and science fiction.

First, we’ll give you a brief history of the Steampunk movement and its influence on popular culture today. Then, we’ll take you through the charming town of Whitby, set against the stunning backdrop of the North Yorkshire coast.

As we make our way to the festival, we’ll showcase the incredible Steampunk costumes and accessories on display, from top hats and goggles to corsets and pocket watches. You’ll be amazed by the creativity and attention to detail put into each outfit, which truly transport you to another time and place.

Throughout the video, we’ll also interview some of the festival-goers and one of the vendors, who will share their experiences and insights into the Steampunk culture. Join us for an unforgettable journey through the Steampunk festival in Whitby, where the past and the future collide in a whirlwind of creativity and imagination.

  2. I really enjoyed this! I went to a steampunk day in Lynton and Lynmouth in Devon last week and like here, they were all so friendly and approachable. I ended up doing a video about it for my channel and will definitely return next year. I may even dress for it next year too.
    The Whitby steam punk festival looks great! I like your upbeat style and enjoyed your recent video with Watto too!

  4. I've messed around with those vortex cannons before, they actually shoot a pretty powerful blast of air. Did you stand in front of it to feel the blast? Very interesting event, my wife really likes Steampunk, she would probably enjoy attending this 🙂

On other matters I love your hat Jill it looks really cosy!! You videoed and chatted to so many folks in awesome costumes here.
